Polyester

Polyester is a man-made fiber derived from either terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol or recycled plastic soda bottles. Polyester fibers are:
  • Resistant to fading;
  • Resistant to water-soluble stains;
  • Soft to the touch; and
  • Inexpensive.

Overall, polyester fibers are very similar to nylon fibers, however they are not as durable.
